The Namibia Polytechnic of Namibia is a public university of science and technology, rich in knowledge, skills experience and research in community related projects.

Through various departments and units, the polytechnic has done a number of projects ranging from emerging farmers training to informal settlement upgrading. With our combination pool of experienced international and local faculty couples with adequate laboratory and field equipment, the Polytechnic offers unmatched potential to handle community as well as research projects.



 

Recent projects include:

  • Formalization of the informal settlements in Rundu and Katima in the capacity of advisor to the project team and training provider for the NPC

  • BIOTA sponsored research in Agricultural and Nature Conservation

  • Implemented the land reform capacity building on behalf of MLR

  • Implemented several community based nature conservation and tourism projects around the country
  • Implemented several agricultural, entrepreneurial training and mentorship projects
  • MTCT Jatropha project : initiated and mentored the first phase
