BASTOS FOUNDATION

Bastos Foundation is a NGO founded as a Foundation in 2002 with full Namibian recognition as qualified to manage international co-operation projects. Bastos Foundation also has official authorization to handle projects financed by the European Union.

Bastos Foundation has expertise in managing projects in areas such as health education, environmental sustainability programs, vocational training, enterprise development, etc., and has worked in countries such as Senegal, Mauritania and Thad.

In Namibia, Bostos Foundation has managed a 3-year Spanish-funded "Human Resources Development in the Topnaar Community" project and is since the beginning of 2008 implementing the 2-year "Woodturning Centre for Youth in Walvis Bay" Microcredits from France Embassy.
